FLATIRON C.P. COMPANY’S FLAGSHIP STORE
Screenprinted in a rust colour this t-shirt was manufactured in 1991 to celebrate the opening of C.P. Company’s flagship store at the Flatiron building on Broadway in New York. Whilst the graphics are a negative that emerge from the uncoloured parts of the T-shirt, which used such a large amount of ink on the fabric as to make it initially quite stiff. Though it subsequently softened significantly when washed twhilst also developing a unique colour and texture.
