FIVE FROM ARCHIVE

Taking eye-catching imagery from the C.P. Company archive and reimagining them into contemporary items of Italian sportswear, the Remastered Archive collection also pays homage to the initial graphic design history of the brand. Featuring iconic prints from various landmarks in the C.P. Company story so far, each of the five limited edition t-shirts take their theme from a different logo or graphic.

1 – CHESTER PERRY
Though later shortened to ‘C.P.’ the name Chester Perry first appeared on t-shirts in 1971 as a direct reference to the factory in which comic strip hero Bristow works. Somewhat ironically Massimo Osti also gives his first clothing company the name of this imaginary factory where it’s not known what exactly is produced but where the priority of all employees seems to be remaining in employment whilst doing the least amount of work possible. Continuing with an industrial theme in 1977 a second line dedicated to knitwear and sweaters appears under the name 'Factory' as an homage to legendary American pop artist Andy Warhol.
