Nylon Mixed Field Jacket

Five years before using the same design ref-erence to create the legendary Goggle Jacket, Osti took inspiration from the shape and pockets of an old Swiss Army field jacket to create this unique hybrid. The nylon is Japanese and was already manufactured with a “crinkle” effect that Osti and his partner in fabric experimentation, Adriano Caccia, would later learn to replicate. The leather yoke and pocket details reference vintage hunting jackets. This jacket and other garments from the same collection, many of which today unfortunately have been lost, represent an important further evolution of the audacious experimentation of Osti and C.P. Company.
