" We all see each other again in Madrid, before Raoni is to return to Brazil, accompanied by Sting, Jean-Pierre Dutilleux and the small crew which Massimo has provided to shoot the documentary Raoni’s Return to be directed by Renato de Maria which will be aired by Mino Damato on RAI, not to mention the TV stations of other countries to collect further funds. Massimo is busy finishing designing collections and cannot join the group as planned, so I leave without him. Obtaining the permission to enter into the protected territories of the Xingu is not easy: a week spent waiting in Rio de Janeiro, then another in Brasilia. We are subjected to strict health checks and discussions regarding the goals of the trip. Time doesn’t ever seem to pass. " Daniela Facchinato
